Liability Disclaimer

At The Wedding Cheque we endeavour to keep our data accurate and up to date however we do not take any responsibility for the accuracy of the prices that we present.

At The Wedding Cheque we try to display data in a helpful way for the sake of comparing prices, as such some of the prices displayed on our website are bespoke and may not be readily available on the websites of our suppliers or may be different upon enquiry. Nonetheless, users of our website can get an accurate quote for their wedding either through the contact form on each supplier's page or directly from their desired supplier. The Wedding Cheque therefore accepts no liabilities for any changes to the prices or services of the suppliers and we cannot attest to the accuracy of information provided by our suppliers and displayed on our website; this includes the prices from industries that only offer bespoke prices for weddings e.g. some florists.

Where prices are displayed according to ‘style’, indicating the level of complexity or sophistication, we accept no liability for how our suppliers interpret and define these terms. This means that in some instances, what one supplier calls ‘luxury’ might be considered ‘basic’ or ‘simple’ by another, for example. Because we are working with indefinable and interpretable terms, we will accept no liabilities for discrepancies within these interpretations.

The Wedding Cheque accepts no liability for the actions or lack thereof of any of the suppliers featured on this website. The Wedding Cheque does not endorse or guarantee 3rd party links or the suppliers featured on this website. The products and services offered by the suppliers are not products of The Wedding Cheque. Linking to a website or featuring their data does not constitute endorsement by The Wedding Cheque or any of its employees. Other websites which may be linked on this website are not bound by our privacy policy.

The views expressed on this website in the reviews are written by users of the website and do not reflect the opinions of The Wedding Cheque or any of our staff.

Data Protection

We have taken strong security measures which we are regularly updating to make sure that your data is protected. The Wedding Cheque has an SSL certificate which means that all the data that is transferred between our website and users' browsers is encrypted. As well as this, The Wedding Cheque limits the number of login attempts made to our website each hour which stops individuals from using brute force attempts to enter accounts registered with us. The Wedding Cheque also randomly invalidates cookies, forcing account users to log back in manually; this decreases the chances of misuse of sessions that are left open on unprotected devices. We also use a firewall which examines traffic and prevents suspicious attempts to use our website, this greatly reduces the chances of cyber hackers accessing your data.

In the event that your personal data is compromised, you will be contacted directly via the email address provided at registration, within 72 hours of discovering the breach.
