May I start by saying, “I absolutely love what I do”.
I firmly believe my clients deserve my full commitment all day on their wedding day. I do this for you very discreetly all day. For the vast majority of your wedding day (95% of the time) I am in “documentary mode” capturing natural, candid, unscripted real moments as your big day unfolds. We will of course capture the family formal/group pictures you would like. I always try to do this part of the day as efficiently as possible, without it being rushed. The last thing I want, is for you and your guests to be standing around. We can also mix this up a little with some great bride and groom pictures, unposed, posed or a mixture whichever your preference.
My style of photography has been inspired by cinema, film and light. I love to make use of the natural light available to me on a wedding day. For Bride and Groom portraits I also like to add or to supplement light to give your portraits a classic look.
I also love to capture images of couples as the sun goes down, these pictures usually have a big WOW factor as we can get a little more creative!
I pride myself on my attention to detail. After your wedding I will finish and retouch all of your pictures individually.
The Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP) has awarded me an Associateship (ASWPP) qualification because of the quality and standard of my work. The SWPP believe a member who has the qualification ASWPP (Associateship) displays a high degree of technical ability and also portrays imagination and creativity in execution and presentation. Only the top 10% of the Wedding and Portrait Photographers in the UK have been awarded an Associateship by the SWPP.
I have also been a regional finalist (South West of England) in The Wedding Industry Awards’ wedding photography category 2017, 2018 2019 & 2020.
